Charlotte Price: Menu: Coffee, breakfast and Cocktails Close to the town hall and on the outskirts of Ibiza Town is Antoni Albert y Nieto Square, which housed the city's tall Christmas tree at the end of 2016 because of delays to the renovation of Vara de Rey Square. This square is home to the seven-year-old Gran Café Charlotte, or, as they themselves call it, "Coffee Gastrobar & Gin". The idea of the Charlotte restaurant franchise came from Madrid, where they chose a "London-style" interior, with high ceilings, big windows and a lot of black. Charlotte's target group is mainly the locals, who visit Charlotte throughout the year to meet friends for a breakfast or at night for a gin & tonic. As it says on the menu: "Disfruta tu momento especial" (enjoy your special moment). The prices are definitely local too: the coffee starts at €1.20, and cocktails from €5.50. In addition to coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices and smoothies, cocktails (with or without alcohol) and light snacks are also provided. There are lots of sweet things on the menu like crepes, ice cream, cake and pastries, but also salads and sandwiches. The piadina, a kind of Italian wrap, is also worth trying. And, if you are a gin lover, there are 15 different gins, including Hendrick's, Brockmans and the Spanish Alchemist’s. Charlotte, a non-Ibiza-like Gran Café with a lot of locals, which makes it a great place for tourists to visit!
