s' Estanyol

S'Estanyol is a nice, small beach near Ibiza Town. Despite the proximity, it is not overcrowded! Perhaps this is due to the lengthy sand trail leading to the beach that deters the masses. We recommend it, nonetheless.

At the beach, there is a quaint food café where there is sometimes a DJ on duty to add a touch of ambiance.  The quality of sand is great, and the water depth remains shallow for quite some distance offshore. Perfect for waders; not so much for swimmers. The beach is often used for weddings or dinner parties, and it is even a location used for the new Dutch film Verliefd op Ibiza (“In love with Ibiza”). For sure that highlights the fact that this beach is worth giving a shot!
